After getting back from The Jersey Freaking Shore, I immediately turned around to head home for a wedding shower and an intro to my mom's new place. It was a short and very hectic trip. Shower, drinks, trying to get in as much face time with everyone as possible (and not succeeding even a little- sorry, dad!).
Drink: red pepper martini. Shockingly delicious.
But mom and I still managed to squeeze in some down time.
Coffee in the garden.
Exploring with Mambo.
Sweet tea, cigarettes and poetry on the porch.
And The Boy's family took me to the lake to swim and it was the perfect send off.
I was sad to leave, but glad to get home.
