This & That

I've been percolating several blog entry ideas over the last few weeks without ever finding the time to post them, so I'm hoping I'll be able to jot them down over the holidays in a flurry of post-publishing. Har, har, har, as though I'll have any free time this week or weekend.

I've come to realize that I have two options over the holidays:

1) Spend a lot of time with one branch of my family and leave everyone else really annoyed.

2) Spend a little bit of time with every branch of the family and leave everyone mildly annoyed.

This is the time of year where I start to feel like the Very Favorite Doll at the nursery school that everyone wants to play with. Still, at least I don't feel like this doll.
