This post made me laugh out loud a lot. You will note that it did not, however, make me LOL because I am a lady.
This bookshelf put a lot of crafty ideas in my head.
This series of ads for Christian Louboutin blew my mind, creeped me out, and made me think. Granted, it doesn't take a lot to do that but still. For more click here.
This video is made by the most beautiful man (and woman) in the world and I know her.
This hair is what I think I want:
My weekend started yesterday, which is awesome in and of itself. Happy Friday!

Weekend
This weekend was catching up with friends over good food and wine and remembering that I am a human being, even if I'm a human being who occasionally sounds like she's hacking up a lung and has to go to bed early.
Unfortunately, I may have overdone it a little so now I'm just taking it easy, doing a little cleaning.
Also, I need your help. I have this image of a hairpiece that I love to pieces (see what I did there) and I can't remember where it's from or who made it. If anyone knows, that would be awesome.
Hope you all had a fantastic weekend!
P.S. My birthday is next week! Obviously can't decide what to do.

Deep Thoughts
Because I am really deep. So: hair. It's on our heads. And I've been thinking about it a lot lately. Mainly because several people have suggested that I, "like, never, ever cut my hair," which, obviously, really makes me want to cut my hair. Here are some of my shorter lengthed inspirations:
I just love that wavy bob because it says to me, "you wouldn't have to learn how to use a hair straightener, Sarah." I really like that in a coif. But then I think back to the shoot in Germany where they gave me huge, bouncy, 80s style curls and I fucking loved it. Yes, brushing it out was a bitch and I didn't exactly fit through every doorway, but still. I felt like a badass.
So, here's some inspiration for that Pre-Raphaelite style wild hair.
And then I think about summer and I think about long, flowy mermaid hair which is so awesome until you actually get to the beach when it gets tangled and in your face but still...looks awesome.
So those are my super deep thoughts about hair. Give me a break, it's before 10 on a Saturday and I've been awake for 2 hours with no coffee.

Yes, yes, yes.
Some fantastic for your Thursday:
Fendi Fall 2011: how much do I love that coat? And those tights?
And on a much more affordable and dreamy note, Talbots' latest campaign features Julianne Moore and is making me swoon:
I'm really starting to rethink mustard.

No matter how lovely a weekend might be, it still has to end and now it's the week and I'm cranky. I can't quite get back into the swing of things, and things are slow professionally and it makes me want to tear my hair out. I hope The Boy is feeling patient.
On a more cheerful note, this weekend we went to Max London's and if you're ever in Saratoga Springs I recommend it. It's right next door to Mrs. London's which has the best pastries ever.
I was feeling rather dramatic.
